By creating new subgroups, the resources can be structured more precisely and thus displayed more clearly. Quam first differentiates between three groups of resources
- IT-Systems,
- documents and records as well as
- material resources
The documents and records used could, for example, be differentiated according to whether they are used for communication with customers, communication with suppliers or internal communication. In order to model this, three subgroups with the corresponding designations must be created below the group "Documents and Records".
In order to assign the newly created groups accordingly, the group "Documents and recordings" must be assigned to them as a parent object.
To create a new group, open the Resources home page and select |Add new item. Fill in the input form and confirm your entries with the |Save button to create the new group.
To create a subgroup, use the PLUS button on the input form under "Assigned". Proceed as described in chapter Creating new elements using the PLUS button (Quam 5.3).
