1        Scope

This privacy policy applies in principle to the SharePointplus.com website, its content and other related websites that refer to this privacy policy in the footer of each website. For some LINTRA plus websites or websites operated by LINTRA plus, separate data protection declarations may apply. The data protection declaration that applies to our respective domains or sub-domains is always the data protection declaration indicated in the footer of the respective website. 

With this data protection declaration you give LINTRA plus your consent to collect, store, use and pass on your personal data for the purposes described in this data protection declaration. This data protection declaration is valid from 1 February 2015.

2        Responsible body

By using the services of LINTRA plus you agree to the following:

LINTRA plus is the responsible body within the meaning of the data protection laws. LINTRA plus collects and processes your personal data as the responsible body and may transfer it to companies affiliated with LINTRA plus and to other LINTRA plus facilities worldwide.

LINTRA plus processes your personal data, the latter two as data processors for the provision of its services in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions and the principles set out in this Privacy Policy.

You can visit websites of LINTRA plus without LINTRA plus knowing who you are or collecting personal data from you. As soon as you communicate your personal data to LINTRA plus, you are no longer anonymous for LINTRA plus. If you decide to provide personal data to LINTRA plus, you agree to the transmission and storage of this data on the servers of LINTRA plus in Germany and in other facilities of LINTRA plus worldwide.

LINTRA plus may collect and store the following personal data:

• E-mail address, contact details and (depending on the services used) sometimes financial information such as credit card or bank details;
• Transaction information based on your activities on the Websites (such as buying, selling, offers, and content you create or associated with your account);
• Contributions in discussion forums, chats, information in the context of dispute resolution, evaluation comments, correspondence via our websites with other stakeholders and correspondence sent to LINTRA plus;

4        Use

The primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient and personal user experience. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you consent to LINTRA plus using your personal information for the following purposes:

• To provide the services and customer service you require;
• Settlement of disputes, collection of fees and resolution of problems;
• Prevent, detect and investigate any prohibited or illegal activity and enforce our Terms and Conditions;
• Adaptation, measurement and improvement of our services, content and advertisements;
• Notification about services of LINTRA plus and its corporate family, targeted marketing, service updates and advertising offers based on your communication preferences;
• Sending marketing communications by e-mail (which you can unsubscribe from at any time by changing your notification settings in your user account or using the instructions in the communication)
• Comparison of the data for correctness and their verification by third parties.

5        Marketing

LINTRA plus does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent. LINTRA plus may combine your data with data of other actors on LINTRA plus and with data that it collects from other companies and use them to improve and personalize their services, content and advertisements.

6        Disclosure of your data by LINTRA plus

LINTRA plus may disclose personal information to provide services, respond to legal requests, enforce the TOS, respond to complaints, or protect the rights, property, or safety of others.

LINTRA plus may also pass on your personal data to third parties:

• Partners of the LINTRA plus group of companies in order to provide joint content or services (such as registration forms, transactions and customer service), to detect and prevent possible illegal actions and violations of principles and to advise them on decisions regarding products, services and communications.
• Service providers commissioned to support LINTRA plus in the provision of services and business operations (e.g.  provisioning of call-back services, handling of requests for offer, answering support request, issueing of test-accounts, in the investigation of fraud, collection of invoices, partner and bonus programmes and customer service).
• Other third parties to whom LINTRA plus sends your data at your express request (or about whom you have been expressly informed and to whom you have consented when you used the specific service).
• Law enforcement or other authorities or third parties on the basis of a request for information in connection with an investigation or on the basis of a suspicion of a criminal offence, an illegal act or other acts from which LINTRA plus, you or another LINTRA plus actor may incur legal liability. LINTRA plus may disclose the following personal data: Company name, first and last name, city, state, telephone number, e-mail address, fraud complaints and bid and offer overview and all other information that LINTRA plus considers relevant.
• Other companies, if LINTRA plus plans a merger with or a takeover by this company. (Should such a merger occur, LINTRA plus will require the merged entity to comply with this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information. Should your personal data be used contrary to this privacy policy, you will be informed in advance.)

7        Use of information from LINTRA plus

LINTRA plus enables you to pass on personal and financial data to carry out transactions. You are obliged to disclose your own data protection principles and to respect the protection of the data of other actors. LINTRA plus cannot guarantee the protection or security of your data. Therefore, you should check the privacy statements and security principles of your trading partners before completing a transaction and submitting your data. In order to ensure the protection of your personal data, LINTRA plus allows only limited access to the contact, shipping and financial data of other players, insofar as they are required for the processing of transactions. When participants are involved in a transaction, they may have mutual access to their company names, email addresses, and other contact and shipping information. In any event, you are required to comply with applicable data protection laws and provide other players with the opportunity to delete their information from your database and verify what information you have collected from them.

You may use data from actors only for the following purposes:

• for purposes related to LINTRA plus transactions, which do not include sending unsolicited promotional messages;
• for the use of services offered via LINTRA plus;

Neither LINTRA plus nor its players tolerate spam. Be sure to set your LINTRA plus notification settings so that LINTRA plus can communicate with you in the way you want. You may not add other LINTRA plus actors to your mailing list (e-mail or post) without their express consent, even if an actor has purchased an article from you. To report LINTRA plus spam or spoof emails associated with LINTRA plus, please forward the respective email to spoof@LINTRA plus.de. You may not use LINTRA plus communication tools to send spam or other content that violates LINTRA plus Terms and Conditions. LINTRA plus automatically scans messages and may manually filter them to check for spam, viruses, phishing and other malicious activity or illegal or prohibited content. However, LINTRA plus does not permanently store messages sent via these tools. If you send an e-mail to an e-mail address that is not registered in the LINTRA plus community (via "Send to a friend" or other tools), LINTRA plus does not permanently store this e-mail and does not use this e-mail address for marketing purposes. LINTRA plus does not rent or sell these email addresses.

10   Protecting your account

Your password is the key to your account. Use different numbers, letters and special characters and do not share your LINTRA plus password with anyone. When you share your password or personal information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken on behalf of your account. If you lose control of your password, you may lose control of your personal information and may be held responsible for legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password is compromised for any reason, you should promptly notify LINTRA plus and change your password.

11   Safety and security

Your data will be stored on the servers of LINTRA plus in Germany. LINTRA plus treats data as a commodity that needs to be protected and uses many means (encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and disclosure. As you probably know, third parties may intercept or access transmissions or private communications and actors may misuse the personal information they collect from the Site. Therefore, LINTRA plus cannot guarantee that your personal data or private communications will always remain confidential, even if LINTRA plus does everything to protect your data.

Except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy, this document covers only the use and disclosure of information that LINTRA plus collects from you. If you disclose your information to others, whether buyers or sellers on our websites or other websites on the Internet, other rules may apply to their use or disclosure. LINTRA plus has no control over the privacy statements of third parties that may apply to you. LINTRA plus recommends that you familiarise yourself with the data protection principles of third parties before disclosing your personal data to them.

13   General information

LINTRA plus may change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the changed terms on this website. The amended terms will automatically come into effect 30 days after their first publication. In addition, LINTRA plus will notify you via your user account or by e-mail to the address provided by you.

14   Use of Google Analytics
