A role is a specific function that can be performed by employees at different hierarchy levels.
External partners are outsiders with whom the company is in contact, such as customers or suppliers.
Once you have created the corresponding groups as described in Creating New Groups in the Organizational Plan (Quam 5.3) , you can create subordinate roles and external partners. Open the input form of the corresponding group, press the PLUS button (1) under "Assigned" and select the desired content type ("Role" or "Type of external partner") (2). Proceed as described in chapter Creating new elements using the PLUS button (Quam 5.3).
This allows you to quickly and easily create new roles or external partners assigned to the appropriate group. The parent-child relationship is set automatically with this procedure.
When you are finished, confirm your entries by clicking on the |Save button.
To obtain an overview of the roles or external partners that have already been modelled, please follow the description in the chapter Overview of the Components of a Group in the Organizational Plan (Quam 5.3).
