Variant 1: You can automatically create connectors between the shapes. Drag & drop the desired shape onto one of the blue triangles (these become visible when the mouse pointer is near the corresponding shape). If the triangle turns dark blue, you can release the mouse button. The shapes are now automatically connected to each other.
Variant 2: Select the required shape in the Shape palette. Move the mouse on the drawing area over the shape to which the new shape is to be connected and click on the blue arrow on the desired side. The shape including the connector will be placed on the drawing area.
Variant 3: Manually connect the shapes on the drawing area. Drag and drop the "Dynamic Connector" from the Shape palette to the desired shape and then drag the arrow to the shape you want to connect to. A red illuminated square indicates the connection - do not release the mouse button until it is displayed. Use this variant, for example, to jump back to previous tasks.
